Partnerships Officer in Kazakhstan

Meet Dina Khassenova, the Partnerships Officer in the Resident Coordinator’s Office in Kazakhstan, helping the UN country team with leveraging partnerships for implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
She plays a key role in supporting the inter-agency task force on the UN dialogue on cooperation with private sector, including the engagement of private sector through the UN Global Compact.  She is proud of her role in supporting the UN team in thematic discussions with key counterparts to formulate the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework for Kazakhstan (2021-2025), and draft the UN-wide resource mobilization and partnership building strategy. Dina has supported the coordination of the UN Joint SDG Fund programme with the Government of Kazakhstan aimed at aligning policy and financing with the SDGs towards the adoption of an Integrated National Financing Framework (INFF).  She contributed to the conceptualisation of the national SDG Architecture in Kazakhstan which is centred around the SDG Coordination Council chaired by the Prime Minister and inter-sectoral “five Ps” working groups.
