Data Management Officer in Armenia

Meet Mané Tadevosyan, the Data Management Officer of the Resident Coordinator’s Office in her native Armenia.  She has played a critical role supporting the Resident Coordinator in designing the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework for Armenia 2021-2025, building on the perspectives of multiple stakeholders. Importantly, as part of this exercise, Mané, together with colleagues in the Resident Coordinator’s Office facilitated more than 6000 people living in Armenia express their views on the long-term priorities for Armenia and the role and contribution of the UN in Armenia for the desired changes. People’s vision of Armenia, compiled through this exercise, framed the Cooperation Framework, defining people’s well-being as one of its priority pillars. Centering on who matters most, the Annual Results Reports of UN in Armenia are also backed by human testimonies of UN’s work on the ground, captured by Mané.  Triggered by the new, human-focused approach to the UN Armenia reports, the members of UN Armenia’s Monitoring, Evaluation and Communication Groups have increased more joined interactions with their partners and beneficiaries.

An advocate for accountability and transparency to those the UN serves, Mané is also leading on UN country team’s onboarding to UN INFO – UN’s system-wide, smart and modern way of approaching data that digitizes and openly displays the UN’s collective offer to Armenia.
