Data Management Officer in Bahrain

Patricia Ciorici, the Data Management Officer in the Resident Coordinator’s Office in Moldova (2018-2021), led the development of the UN Moldova Common Country Analysis Dashboard, together with her counterparts across the UN country team.  She has since brought her expertise to Bahrain, where she serves a similar role.

The Moldova Dashboard brings together and visualizes data coming from a variety of sources, including the National Bureau of Statistics, UN entities, and other national and international organizations. It presents a regularly updated overview of key socioeconomic and environmental trends in the country, informing the work of the UN and its partners to better understand and respond to the emerging challenges of the population, in particular vulnerable groups such as Roma, persons with disabilities and women victims of violence.

In Bahrain, Patricia continues to promote the use of data visualization by sharing her experience of building the dashboard with other offices.
